Buckle Up with BuckleBear!

This program is sponsored by the St. Louis Auto Dealers Association to promote automobile passenger safety to young children ages 2 to 6 years old.
The program teaches young children that everyone has a seat in the car and must be buckled up. No special training is required to teach the curriculum, which includes fun, reusable materials with the cartoon character "BuckleBear" as the focal point. The curriculum was developed by Weiner/Seaman Productions.
The Association offers the program free of charge to local elementary schools and daycare centers.
Based on availability, participating schools receive:
- (1) BuckleBear Teacher Kit -one per participating school
- (1) 8-minute BuckleBear Video - one per participating school
- (1) "Good Passenger" coloring book per child
- Use of the life-size BuckleBear costume (if available)
