Payroll Manager

Analyzes, prepares and inputs payroll data.  Use automated system to produce accurate and timely payroll.  Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
Must have experience with Union payroll.
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports for management.
Update master payroll records by verifying and recording changes affecting net wages such as federal and state tax exemptions, insurance coverage and data concerning compensation increases, promotions and/or transfers.
Complete weekly contributions to various coverages.
Complies with federal, state and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation: and enforcing adherence to requirement.
Human Resource experience preferred.
Great communication skills.
College degree preferred.
Must have at least 5 years’ experience working in and processing payroll.
